Mayberry Community Guidelines

Effective October 11, 2025

We all play a part in making Mayberry a welcoming, safe place to connect around homes and neighborhoods. These guidelines are here to help keep conversations useful, respectful, and genuine.
1. Be respectful

Every post, comment, or like comes from a real person. Share your perspective in a constructive way, and avoid personal attacks, trolling, or shaming. Disagree without being disagreeable.
2. No discrimination or hate

Mayberry is open to everyone. Content that promotes discrimination, hatred, or violence toward individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, origin, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, or age is not allowed.
3. Stay on topic

Mayberry’s focus is on homes, neighborhoods, and discovery. Keep conversations relevant to property, community, and local life. Broader national or political debates belong elsewhere.
4. Use genuine identity

Trust is the foundation of Mayberry. Everyone must register with their real name and verified home address. When posting, you may appear as your real name or a semi-anonymous neighborhood identifier (like “Preston Hollow Resident”), but the information you provide to us must always be accurate.
5. Avoid harmful activity

Do not post content or engage in activity that could harm others — including scams, fraud, unsafe advice, threats, or any activity that risks the safety of homeowners or home seekers.
Moderation and enforcement

We rely on our community to help keep Mayberry safe and constructive. If you see content that appears to break these guidelines, please use our reporting tools:
  • Report a post
  • Report a user
Before reporting, take a moment to confirm the content truly violates these guidelines (and not just that you disagree with it). Thoughtful reporting helps us focus on genuine issues. Misuse of reporting may affect your access to Mayberry.
